CaltechViolist Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 Hardly. I've heard of so many cases of "accidental plagiarism" that it's not even funny... perhaps it takes training to remember all the details, but I even remember one particular YC member, a few years back, mentioning starting a piece and then throwing it out upon the sudden horrific realization that what had been written to that point was about 25 bars of Tchaikovsky. giselle Posted October 14, 2006 Author Posted October 14, 2006 *hyperventilate* Okay, yeah I can't even memorize 8 bars in 4/4 time with simple rhythms fast enough to write it down. I guess I've got some practicing to do. Somehow. Erg, hard to practice on your own. Quote
