Henry Ng Tsz Kiu Posted March 7, 2023 Posted March 7, 2023 Hey Henry, I love this more and you do try to extend the movements in my opinion! There are more interactions between piano and the orchestra with the orchestra repeating what the Piano is doing, which is an improvement for me! I also love how you start to utilize the materials more! Even though it's more or less repetitions, for example in b.35 when after the e minor episode the first theme appears as nothing happens, but I think you start to have a sense of organizing your materials! I also enjoy the third movement as the harmonic progression and the use of instruments here are more reasonable than your previous works! The fast tempo and terraced dynamic is good as well, though I find the ending on b.19 a bit abrupt. Thanks for sharing and I am happy for your progress! Henry 1 Quote

Omicronrg9 Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 This is getting interesting to say the least. It would be nice to see it performed with better soundfonts or by MuseSounds/Noteperformer at least. The musical notation software you use, perhaps Musescore, leaves these 'traces' that look off: Beware of them as they ain't worrisome but they just make no sense to be there. Probably my favourite part is the calm one near minute 3. Despite being the longest I have listened from you, typically concertos last longer but don't worry about that. The figures and style you use are quite simple, yet you make them work very nicely which is not always easy to do. I hope you keep working on this kind of developed, structured, solid pieces. Kind regards, Daniel–Ømicrón. Quote
Uhor Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 This is awesome and fun! Where you inspired by C.P.E. Bach? Quote
