etude 1

Featured Replies

Here is an etude I composed recently coming in at 120 bpm but anywhere from 80 to 120 bpm is ideal.

Enjoy!

Hi @HtWinsor,

I think this piece is an excercise rather than an Etude. An etude while being pedagogic, should have some artistic value, but your piece here for me is just a bunch of apreggios with limited varities. You can, again, add some characters to it like making it more intenese with more advanced harmony, for instance. I think it's better to be called a prelude or toccata (if the tempo is fast) since I think it's similar to a warm up piece before the main one.

Thanks for sharing

Henry
