Henry Ng Tsz Kiu Posted June 9, 2023 Posted June 9, 2023 Hi @HtWinsor, I like you are trying the rondeau form here with the sentences repeating. I like in b.17 and 45 when you are having a melody in the piano while the flute is playing the accompaniment. You can have more varieties for the flute but at least the voice exchange is good. For me there are too much tremolos for the piano. Why do you choose this particular accompaniment throughout the piece? This accompaniment is usually for something exciting and anxious. I can immediately think of Schubert's erkonig even though is a repeating octave tremolo instead of a spreading one like here. Again for me the e minor ending is abrupt. How are your older compositions going after listening to our advice? Do you still work on them and develop them? It will be more beneficial to work on the old ones instead of starting new ones repetitively. Henry Quote
