Tom Dahlenburg Posted June 12, 2023 Posted June 12, 2023 This is a composition I composed that starts in C Major however works its way all over the place, it uses chord changes like Fmaj to a Bmaj or the tritone chords. There are other strange however intriguing moments with subtle use of bells that provide most of the melodies. This genre of composition is seen hugely in Film music and is a bit of fun to compose when you can. I wouldn't be able to give a rational answer to what key signature it is purely "based in" other than how the piece introduces with a gentle C major as I mentioned before. I have thought this possibly means putting it in the key of C major however I'm not certain yet. Any feedback or reviews would be greatly appreciated. Quote
Henry Ng Tsz Kiu Posted June 13, 2023 Posted June 13, 2023 Hi @Tom Dahlenburg, For me the modulations are quite magical! I love the harmonic progression here. The celesta throghout helps shape the mood too!.I don't think the key signature is a crucial issue though, maybe a key signature with no sharp/flat (not equivalent to C major) would be a goof choice. Thanks for sharing! Henry Quote
