I love the added passage in b.27, the timbre there is very funny; and also in b.41. Just make sure the mood doesn't change too quickly will be fine, since I feel like you can add more preparations before both of these passages. My impression is that the draft is turning from an impressionistic to a modal one and then a heroic one. Also with the loud trumpets and trombones piano there may be overwhelmed even though it's just playing chords and does not carry melodic significance.
