Hi @BipolarComposer,

The opening is great: pizz strings accompaniment with the woodwinds especially the flute and oboe as the melodic instruments. I like the bass clarinet with flute in around 1:40. The middle brass section is quite suffocating with constant percussions! This makes the sections next to it more beautiful with high woodwind. Then you go for glockenspiel/celesta and suddenly there's an outbrust of trumpets, which for me is quite abrupt even though it's lovely.

Overall the passages themsleves are very beautiful with different timbre visited. Maybe there are just too many elements in it in my opinion.

Thanks for sharing!

I think it is a great piece but it has its lights and shadows.
There are great moments like the aforementioned pizzicato and when distinctive instruments like the bass clarinet clearly sound. But I think that in the middle part the themes or parts are a bit disconnected. To me it sounds like a progressive work that looks forward all the time, with little recapitulation.
I particularly liked the ending.
