short piece - Caravana Aimará - for clarinet and piano

A very nice and well constructed composition.
The clarinet runs very well throughout its register, with a sweeter tessitura part at the beginning. The piano starts with a rather secondary role but gradually becomes interesting as well.

LOVE IT!  Great melodic line with a very interesting piano accompaniment.  Somewhat impressionistic - with a jazzy undertow!  It flows and undulates like a whisper- puff of smoke.

Hi 🙂 Gershwin, Grieg, and the impresionistics. The piece is a demo for a project, but I didin't win so never finish or expand the idea. 😕

The timbre of the clarinet really fits into the jazzy style. Very colourful use of different registers of the clarinet. Maybe the piano can be less chordal and more free flowing, but overall the piece is very soothing. Thx for sharing!
