uri_lipp Posted August 20, 2023 Posted August 20, 2023 Did I do a good job with the orchestration of this piece and if I want to make it the end of a larger piece how should I go around creating more melodies? Luis Hernández Posted August 23, 2023 Posted August 23, 2023 In my opinion, yes. It would be nice to see the score at the same time. The final part is a bit unbalanced in terms of volume ? 1 Quote
uri_lipp Posted August 23, 2023 Author Posted August 23, 2023 I tend to agree with you about the last part And on the topic of the score I composed it in fl studio and I don't know how to read sheet music so I can't really help with that 1 Quote

Then use File>Export to make a pdf of your score. That would give us a rough idea of how your piece is put together. (It won't be perfect ofcourse.) Edited September 21, 2023 by Alex Weidmann Quote
uri_lipp Posted September 22, 2023 Author Posted September 22, 2023 I made some changes to the piece and figured out how to convert to sheet music. Thank you for the suggestion. I would love for some comments about the score MP3 Play / pause JavaScript is required. 0:00 0:00 volume > next menu orcestra + bell intro > next PDF orcestra score Quote
Alex Weidmann Posted September 22, 2023 Posted September 22, 2023 Thanks for posting! MuseScore has made its usual errors with the clef assignments in your score. Violas should remain in alto clef throughout, and the celli have far too much chopping back and forth between bass and treble clefs. I think it's a good composition though, with some effective contrary motion in the strings. Quote
uri_lipp Posted September 22, 2023 Author Posted September 22, 2023 I actually noticed the clef changes but I'm not familiar with the software so I don't know how to change it Thenk you for the comments Quote
Alex Weidmann Posted September 22, 2023 Posted September 22, 2023 It's actually quite easy to fix. Just select the incorrect clefs with the mouse and press delete. Quote
