mossy84 Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 I should start calling these preludes. I wrote this earlier today without any sound as a way of testing my ability to write complicated music without hearing it, but I had to make many changes once I actually tried turning it into an mp3 file (obviously). Jqh73o Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 (edited) Hello @mossy84 I loved this chorale, its polyphonic texture gives it a baroque feel, but the way the melodies are written is so beautiful, it reminded me about Bach’s prelude No 4 from the first book of the well tempered clavier or the preludes in b flat minor and b minor by Rachmaninov (maybe because pf the combination of the hints of siciliano rhythm given because of the polyphony and the minor key) Thank you Edited September 7, 2023 by Jqh73o Quote
