Nazariy Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 Today i present here my latest arrangement. For me it's one of the best ways of improving the orchestrating skill for my own works. Few month ago I listened this piece in piano version and immediatly noticed the potential for an orchestral version and in a matter of a few days I finished this work. It's arranged for a symphonic orchestra. (2,2,2,2)(4,3,3,1)(-)(16,14,12,10,8) Benediction_de_Dieu_dans_la_solitude.pdf PDF Benediction_de_Dieu_dans_la_solitude 1 Quote
Alex Weidmann Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 I'm in awe of your orchestration skills here! I wonder if you know the works of Colin Matthews? I've found his adaptations of Debussy's preludes for piano very useful to study. They can be found on You Tube: As a pianist myself, I like the idea of adapting piano works for orchestra; but probably don't have the skills to do it. Quote
