Henry Ng Tsz Kiu Posted October 13, 2023 Posted October 13, 2023 Hello @semotivo, I think the counterpoint suffers from parallel octave sometimes, for example b.3, 5-6, 10, 18 and other places, or a parallel 5th in b.11-12, and these will weaken the independence of the counterpoint in your invention especially a two part one. The voice leading is sometimes not fluent enough, for example in b.17-18. It sounds indeed confusing to me sometimes. Thx for sharing! Henry Quote
