January 30, 20242 yr Hi all, This is a 4 min piece that reminds music in old antiquity drama films (such as great "jason and the argonauts 1963", which i recall distantly) The structure is violin solo - A1 A2 A3 (in 6/4 and 4/4 time) - clarinet solo - cadence. All the chord markings are silenced and are not correct now. Instruments: piano/organ clar violin bass xyl I invented modal variation after thinking that this improves a lot of the feeling of the piece. I add d# and a# and change them back to a and d some of the time. Here are some other thoughts: I may intent whole piece for one band that has 2-3 soloist, guitars and accordion. Then i may just have only melody, chords and rythmic instrument in the music sheet. Xylophone part is not finished yet. The xylophone part i intent to make more 'semitonal' than other instrument lines in A1 A2 and A3. But it propably will follow a set of some kind of interval series. phrasing and dynamic markings are still missing. The ending cadence is sligtly not good and i propably change it. part A1 A2 A3 may be too short and B part could be good. The solos also propably are better phrased with different alterations in tempo and pauses, when real player plays them. in ending clarinet solo part i give small hint of 2:14 rythm, that is played by xylophone. That rythm is breaken constantly by soloists 1:4 and 1:8 notes. There could be a rythmical background in the alteration of rythms but this is still open thought. But now rapid piano passages goes over this background. EDIT i corrected some mistakes in the modal variation
