Gabriel Carlisle Posted January 31 Posted January 31 Finished this track recently for fun after creating a visual in my head of an ancient temple but inside a code of some kind. The first half is the normal track while the second half is battle track when an enemy is encountered. Enjoy! The repeated patterns create a somewhat primitive mood of an ancient temple. I like how you invite the marching rhythm alongside the hook at the beginning too. I think the contrast of the two halves is not really big and you may include more agitated mood in the second half! Thx for sharing! Henry 1 Quote
Gabriel Carlisle Posted February 2 Author Posted February 2 thanks for the feedback! I totally agree that the second half needs more to it. Quote
Louis dB Posted February 11 Posted February 11 Really enjoyed the beginning, etheral. Some castle in the Sky Vibe. You love hisaishi dont you?^^ The battle track is fine but maybe too static and repetitive because of the same used chords and no Big changes on the syncope. The bass Line is cool 1 Quote

PeterthePapercomPoser Posted March 9 Posted March 9 As background music it works, even though it seems to repeat the same chord progression for the entirety of the track. But I guess that's a requirement of a track that's a good candidate for being programmed in layers according to what's happening in the game (where I guess the added percussion which adds intensity can be unnoticably brought into it when the player encounters the boss/battle). Great job and thanks for sharing! Peter Quote
