Gabriel Carlisle Posted January 31 Posted January 31 Hello! I have two songs i recently made and wanted to know if someone could play them and record them for me? Its only two pieces and each one is roughly a page long. PDF Decorate_(Yuto)Relics and Sorrows (Anime theme) Quote
Henry Ng Tsz Kiu Posted January 31 Posted January 31 Hey @Gabriel Carlisle, I would like to ask something first. In the Decorate one, what is the octave sign in the middle mean in b.1-15? I think the octave signs in b.31-34 of Decorate and b.1-5 of Relics and Sorrows unnecessary though. Henry 1 Quote
Gabriel Carlisle Posted January 31 Author Posted January 31 (edited) The octave sign was an indication for the treble clef to play octave lower bc it was mostly off of the clef making it hard to read. I was trying to make it easier for someone to read but if it’s unnecessary or there’s another way to do it I would love to know! I tried using a bass clef as well but it ended up the same issue. As for the other octave signs I put them there as for the same reason. Is there another way to make it easy to read without using to many ledger lines? I actually was going to print these today and take them with me when I go to a session in case I have the chance to showcase any of my pieces. Thanks for letting me know! The lowest note of the passage will be a G sharp which only needs two ledger lines. It would be better than to use a bass clef or the octave sign now. 6 minutes ago, Gabriel Carlisle said: As for the other octave signs I put them there as for the same reason. If he can’t read that, don’t be a pianist then LoL! Henry 1 Quote

However I think at the end you can change the left hand to a treble clef To prevent the high C sharp! Henry Quote
Harvey0905 Posted February 11 Posted February 11 Did you still need these pieces recorded? I know it's been almost two weeks but I have a nice-sounding digital piano and thought I might be able to help 🙂 1 Quote
Gabriel Carlisle Posted February 11 Author Posted February 11 I have some audio files I made in my daw I’ll post later this evening since it’s Sunday. Yes I’ll still take your recordings if you want! It’s more so to see if the music is readable and the song playable. Quote
