April 7, 20241 yr This is polska that i have been working on. Polska is folk tune type in Scandinavia. example: Trollpolska https://spillefolk.dk/nodesamling/visnode.php?key=po-troll&lang=en) I have done two versions. In first version the bass beat is from the documentary film "The Buffalo" ending text song drumming line. The song has a name "horse stealing song" that was played during the ending text and there was drum and flute. The drum is just continuously repeating 4 beat long rythm. Bass line in this polska version is similar but with changing harmony and has only slight changes. The main melody is quite plain. There are no repetitions. The second version is more traditional. It has time signature 3/4 but some bars are 4 beats long. Melody is more developed. This version has repetitions. EDIT: i edited text shorter here and made better sheets and .mp3 recordings.
