Zax37 Posted May 2 Posted May 2 (edited) Hi! 🙂 New guy here, hobbyist composer with barely any musical education. 😅 In the past I've played a bit of piano and more recently tried to learn to play guitar with poor results. 😅 Looking forward to learn from you folks and maybe even collaborate? 🙂 But first things first, I thought it made sense to show where I'm currently at. Here's a demo that I've compiled recently: Essentially, I've collected the best of my drafts which I hesitated to call done, as I usually do, and compiled them into a music demo in order that hopefully makes some sense... I also have a soundcloud account, though it is pretty empty for the reason stated above... 😅 Any tips and suggestions are welcome of course, I'll be hanging around reading and trying to improve. 🙂 Edited May 2 by Zax37 1 Quote
General Pokopo Posted June 24 Posted June 24 Hello my friend! As a person that dont know what he is talking about i can say all your compositions sound really good! are they fragments of full songs? if they are i hope you post them so i could listen. 🙂 I cant give you any tips, because i dont know much about music, but surley other smarter people here will give you some pointers. All i can say is keep the good work.😁 Quote
Zax37 Posted June 24 Author Posted June 24 Thank you Pokopo 😊 yes, those are all fragments, there's like two songs that I almost considered done, but I've been going back and forth on and couldn't get some things quite right... The last song is probably the best example since I was getting ready to publish it, but then I shared it with a friend of mine, who gave me some tips for the drums, and then I've been working on them so long I got tired and annoyed 😅 If you found any of them particularly interesting I can share more details about it 😊 Quote
General Pokopo Posted June 26 Posted June 26 I reaaally liked the chill vibe of song that starts around 1:10 very relaxing for me. Also i can say i personally too dont finish 90% of songs i start soo we have that in common 😄 Quote
