Hi @Hcab5861,

A lot of fun listening to it, I found it witty and well constructed!

Very clever transitions bars 5-8, 17-19 or again 29-31, subtle and intriguing.

Super ending: reusing the transitional material and extending it fits very well!

Hi @Hcab5861!

I think this is a great example of a good mash-up!  It's so short - I wish it were longer or for example just a single member of many variations on "Old MacDonald ..."  There's so many themes that people haven't written variations on before that are like fruit for the taking!  Many composers have done the Paganini variations - for me that's like a piece of fruit that's already over-ripe or gone sour LoL.  But I haven't heard a composer take a theme like "Old MacDonald ..." and write a fully fledged set of variations on it which would be really cool if done well!  Thanks for sharing.
