Hey everyone!
Just finished composing a piece inspired by the Titanomachy saga called 'The Fall of Chronos'. It's an epic symphony featuring a women's choir. I hope you'll like it. What's your opinion?

Hi @olivercomposer,

I really love the opening choral passage! It’s so fateful in C minor and occasional Ab minor. The instrumental development after it is quite epic which features your favourite brass instruments usage! I feel like the instrumental passage is rather too long. What I expect is the opening chorus to return earlier, since the modulation to G minor is rather less exciting when similar passages keep continuing. But I really love the ending choral passage!! So epic here! Thx for sharing!

Hi,

Thanks for your comment! I thought too much choir would have been too boring. I wanted some variety... The G minor is pretty obvious because this is the dominant of the C minor scale.

Hi again @olivercomposer!

This track is a very harmonically typical one for you!  Very epic and grandiose!  I like the variation in tempo which lends the music some variety in drive.  I also like the short meter change to 5/4!  That also brings rhythmic contrast.  But there is also contrast created by the slower section with col legno strings!  I like that you seem to be exploring different techniques in your orchestration!  As the music winds down the tempo also slows down - great job!  Thanks for sharing.
