Yoni Posted August 12 Posted August 12 Hi guys, im a 17 years old composer, and as an addition to my other prelude in b major (which i apploaded some time ago) I’ve written another prelude that is named “the butterfly”. Any reviews are welcome thanks https://musescore.com/user/38164718/scores/20122765?share=copy_link 1 Quote
Jqh73o Posted August 14 Posted August 14 Hello @Yoni Thos piece, as it has a rather dissonant language and is difficult from a voicing perspective, would benefit a lot from addition of dynamics and other markings as well as from a human performance or a more realistic MIDI. However, the MIDI quality doesn’t stop me from enjoying your work. I am not sure if this is the direction you want to go in, but with the mystical feeling of the piece, the addition of pedal, some bass notes and more impressionistic figuration would make it sound otherworldlily magic Some corrections I would do: Join the octave signs at the beginning Add more dynamics maybe the ending figure in the LH should be slower, in quavers Thanks for sharing Manuel Quote
