Pianistikboy Posted August 31, 2024 Posted August 31, 2024 Years ago, I've composed a Libera Me. When I wrote it, I started by a version a cappella. Finally, I decided to add an orchestra because I thought it could bring the piece to another dimension. What do think about this choice? Quote
PeterthePapercomPoser Posted September 8, 2024 Posted September 8, 2024 Hello @Pianistikboy and welcome to the forum! This is a very beautiful piece and it sounds as if it's performed live! In the beginning I had doubts whether both the choir and the orchestra were being performed live - I thought maybe you just layered in some instrumental samples to the choir performance, doubling the voices with a string orchestra. But I can hear now that you've added quite a few idiosyncratic solo parts and full orchestra scoring - I love the trumpet solo! Great job and thanks for sharing! 1 Quote
Pianistikboy Posted September 9, 2024 Author Posted September 9, 2024 Many thanks Peter for your kind words. I've composed this piece with heart and I've tried to make it sounds the best as possible. 1 Quote
