Pianistikboy Posted August 31 Posted August 31 Years ago, I've composed a Libera Me. When I wrote it, I started by a version a cappella. Finally, I decided to add an orchestra because I thought it could bring the piece to another dimension. What do think about this choice? Quote
PeterthePapercomPoser Posted September 8 Posted September 8 Hello @Pianistikboy and welcome to the forum! This is a very beautiful piece and it sounds as if it's performed live! In the beginning I had doubts whether both the choir and the orchestra were being performed live - I thought maybe you just layered in some instrumental samples to the choir performance, doubling the voices with a string orchestra. But I can hear now that you've added quite a few idiosyncratic solo parts and full orchestra scoring - I love the trumpet solo! Great job and thanks for sharing! 1 Quote
Pianistikboy Posted September 9 Author Posted September 9 Many thanks Peter for your kind words. I've composed this piece with heart and I've tried to make it sounds the best as possible. 1 Quote
