Hi all! This is part 1 and part from 6 part folk suite i have made during this summer. This i think is still in the chamber music category. Drums are not obligatory. i added Word "scifi", since some of the parts gives futuristic feeling.

I writed melody line and chord structure and some background attempt but i got stuck after that. Trio or quartet could be a good idea. Thought good players could already manage to play on the basis of these notes.

Part 1 is somewhere between folk and rock, It reminds music of one instrumental rock band from Finland (Tres nachos experience). It has strong , positive and cheerful melody played by violin. After that the whole piece gets repeated by accordion. After that there is ending with varying tempo. There is drum line, it is slightly strange. but this part could be played without drums also. There is also a music sheet for soloist that could be easier to read.

Part 2 is slightly slower. It starts from similar kind of phrase than the first part but it is in different mode and develops differently. I have got inspiration from Crete or Greece. The mode is i think is more common in Greek music.  There is a concept called "contemporary modal music" that is used by one musician (Ross Daly). I have listened that music.  But I am not sure does this belong under that description. It is played by clarinet. There are no drums.

I have added repetitions in that way that the whole theme that is 1-2 minutes long is repeated once. Otherwise both of the parts would be too short. During the second repetition player can make variations.
