Awsumerguy Posted December 1 Posted December 1 Hello, @Ho Sen Ken! Thanks for letting us hear your work. I have to say: this is fascinating! I loved listening to it and began to tune it out after the first 2 minutes (as any atonal work rightfully should!). Reminds me very strongly of Sorabji and the rigid, cold atonalism of the 2nd Viennese School. I'd love to hear you discuss the techniques you used to write this work. Despite being a fan of serialism, I'm not too keen on the intricacies of writing serialist music, so I can't say much there. I will say that the dissonances are well balanced and the recurring motifs are very apparent and occur frequently. Great piece here! I don't want to know how long it took you to cook this one up 😅 Quote
Luis Hernández Posted December 4 Posted December 4 A very good piece of work. Sounds coherent in style and form. Quote
