MantisToboggan Posted December 10 Posted December 10 Hi all! Calm your minds and forget your worries. With this piece I’d like to say I tried to capture the sound and the feeling of the cool autumn wind. The arrangement is predominantly strings with a touch of the woodwinds ands some solo strings here and there. I hope you like it. Quote
Quinn Posted December 10 Posted December 10 Quite captures the mood you set out to portray. I wasn't aware of much woodwind and it could probably be done with strings alone. At first the sudden quietening at around 3'45" seemed a bit too quiet but on second listening it did become more part of the mood. I liked the ending - didn't come with a perfect cadence which to me let it carry on in my mind. Nice piece. My only trouble is I live in a cold country and autumn gives me the heebie-jeebies. We have cold autumn winds! Quote

We have cold autumn winds! Thanks. I'm from a cold country too, hence the name - in northern countries the northern wind is known to signal seasonal change. Quote
