PeterthePapercomPoser Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Hi @Jackie! What a wonderful chromatic piece that perfectly reflects the programmatic title! If you have one available I would love to see the score for this and follow along with it while listening. Great job and thank you for sharing such a melancholy miniature! 2 Quote
Jackie Posted January 2 Author Posted January 2 Thank you. Do I share the score in the original post? 1 Quote

I like it when people use their own little phrases and staff notes to indicate what to do. Often times, it's even easier for another player to read and play along with it that way. Being someone who's a bit of a perfectionist with the work I write, Personally, I'd have notated the articulations, dynamics, tempo, and used music terms for some of the areas that you have notes marked at. But that's just my personal take on it. You've clearly got your own style mastered, and I applaud you for that, Jackie! Very well done performance, and a pretty lookin' score, to boot! 🙂 1 Quote
Thatguy v2.0 Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Your performance is great! I love the harmonic direction of your music. It's simple yet elegant, something I always strive for in writing. 🙂 Well done, thanks for sharing! 1 Quote

Henry Ng Tsz Kiu Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Hi @Jackie, Wow I like this! The opening and ending is lovely with the faxbourdon texture. The main section reminds me of the 1st movement of Beethoven’s op.109, but the mood is completely different here with a bit of sadness. Nice playing too! Thx for sharing! Henry 1 Quote
