RonithAbyankar Posted January 2 Posted January 2 (edited) Hey all, wishing you all a wonderful new year ahead, and hope everyone had a great holiday season 😃! I wanted to share a demo of one of my unreleased tracks, titled 'Rush' (it's the working title), which is a Funk Pop piece. The track aims explores the feeling of 'love at first sight' and incorporates a wide range of instrumentation, including Lush Pads, Bass, Creative Fx, etc. More importantly though,  I’ve focused on this song having a really fun, playful mood. Hence, I have added various FX and Pad sounds (like Wah Guitars, short and sudden risers, swells, etc) to create a really comical, child-like atmosphere, to emulate the happiness of the feeling the song explores. However, the lyrics are still being written (almost done, to be precise) and the vocals are yet to be recorded. Hence, the main voice of the song for now is the piano, which has the lead vocals' melody (the finished song would not have piano though). The song's also yet to be mixed, as one could have inferred from the above. Hence, I’d really appreciate any valuable insights you have about the song—whether it’s about the composition, arrangement, production, or overall vibe. Constructive criticism is very much welcome, as I’m looking to really refine this piece further before releasing it! Looking forward to hearing your insights (it would also be great if you all could listen using headphones 🙂 ) Thank you all! The beginning really sounds funny and playful for me, with the whistle and wah wah sound. If the piano is a real one it would be even funnier haha. The quartal addings after 1:25 makes the music cooler too. For me maybe you can add a climax naer the end, though the piece maintains fun and coolness throughout. Thx for sharing! Henry Quote
RonithAbyankar Posted yesterday at 05:46 AM Author Posted yesterday at 05:46 AM Hey Henry, thank you so much for the feedback! I really appreciate it! I'm glad that you found the piece to be playful, as that was the vibe I was aiming to go for... About the climax. Yeah, I have worked on the climax a little bit now, to build the expectation of the listeners and create a contrast ! 🙂 Quote
