synthesizer Modular Glows l My Proudest Composition

Hi everyone,

I’m new here! I’ve seen a few other pieces of music shared here, and it seems like the perfect place for me to join in.

I’m a French student, and I’ve spent 12 years studying piano at a conservatory. Recently, I’ve started composing, and I feel confident enough about what I’ve created to share it with you.

Right now, I don’t have anyone around for active listening, so I have no idea how to assess the quality of my compositions. I’d really appreciate honest feedback (whether it’s theoretical or just based on your feelings) to understand where I stand and how I can improve.

For me it's sounds like a Baroque Chaconne with electronic effect and rhythm, when a basic harmonic pattern is maintained throughout the whole piece. The sound effect is really varied throughout the whole piece. I really like the drum? in 2:40, it sounds so soothing to listen to! What is the sound effect there? The ending climax is achieved with good preparation as well. I think overall it works well as an electronic piece, since the effects are lovely even though the harmony is repeating. Thx for sharing!

The sound at 2:40 is a synth I designed! I’m basically using a weird envelope LFO to control the cutoff frequency of the low-pass filter. I’m really proud of it.

The thing is, I’m afraid people might skip my song before getting to that part with the cool synth, but I don’t see it coming earlier in the track. idk how to do.
