J. Lee Graham Posted July 8, 2005 Posted July 8, 2005 Mike & Chopin: Any chance we can have a wider variety of attachable or imbedable files? For example, if someone is asking for feedback on their piece, I'd love to be able to imbed a TIF image file into a post that I would extract from Finale to give a visual example of a criticism or suggestion, instead of having to convert it to JPEG. Are TIF files too big? Why are they prohibited? Also, I understand why mp3s need to be linked from offsite, but is there is a reason why image files have to be? Are they too big to host here? I don't know much about this stuff, so forgive my ignorance. Also, there was an occasion I wanted to attach a PDF to a post, but couldn't. I doubt that a PDF is much bigger than a Finale or Sibelius file. Same questions apply to this. Thanks, guys! Quote

I don't know why, but for some reason I thought I had to host mp3s from elsewhere. You mean you have room to allow them here? As they say in the parlance: Kewl! Quote
