Are there any exercises in this book or are they all in the workbook thing? And if the former if i posted them on here would someone be able to look at them and point out mistakes?

Thanks, Maek

There are exercises in the book but if you're at the point where you're getting a text book you should just audit a music theory class in a college for a few weeks. It's free and plus Piston's writing is almost as boring as his music.

I'm 14 may be a problem on the college front.

And I don't care if it's 'boring'; I'm not planning on reading it for pleasure, i want to learn, I'm not expecting it to be fun, in fact i detest textbooks that try and make learning fun.
