Mark Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 Are there any exercises in this book or are they all in the workbook thing? And if the former if i posted them on here would someone be able to look at them and point out mistakes? Thanks, Maek Quote
Tumababa Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 There are exercises in the book but if you're at the point where you're getting a text book you should just audit a music theory class in a college for a few weeks. It's free and plus Piston's writing is almost as boring as his music. Quote
Mark Posted December 29, 2006 Author Posted December 29, 2006 I'm 14 may be a problem on the college front. And I don't care if it's 'boring'; I'm not planning on reading it for pleasure, i want to learn, I'm not expecting it to be fun, in fact i detest textbooks that try and make learning fun. Quote
Vinz R. Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 Great book. I have an old edition from years ago. Quote
