    • This is a good idea. We should do this.

don't let him write a book! It'll turn him into an insufferable ego machine!

But isn't he already?

Oh no-o-o-oh!!! I didn't mean that. Quick! Wind it back!....

Too late - < claps hand to forehead dramatically >

j/k

{Nico}

Nope, Mark, he's a symphony machine. In the endless soich for even more money finale have commissioned Realdolls to base a couple of models on him. At entry level (no comment) you put it in front of your computer, sing or play and it/he writes it into finale and scores it for you. The deluxe model has a USB2 port. You have a similar port implanted into your brain with the socket in your forehead. Then you just think the composition and it's written out.

If you're having trouble, an animated semiquaver pops up, smiles and says "Ah, I see you're writing a symphony. Would you like help?"

Any "activity on the homepage" you may have noticed was probably chopin botching the upgrade of the wiki and fixing it again. Integration still isn't here. However, once he purchases and installs the requisite software, a procedure which is very unlikely to take more than about 10-15 minutes, we should be on our way...

I know. What's taking so long. Not be impatient. Mike, be careful... Mark, Nico, and myself are liable to come and burn your house down if you don't get it up soon. Just kidding, guys!

No, but seriously: I have a nice article ready to be submitted, all it needs to be done is typed. I have it handwritten. (I did it at school. And, I got an A+ on my last test. Yay me!)

My article is entitled: "Musical Transitions in Modern Compositions." (subtitled) "A Contemporary Approach to Musical Transference in Neoteric Colloquialism."

Yeah, that's just the thing, I'm not personally able or obliged to get it up soon (pun not intended). This is entirely in the hands of chopin. I've reminded him via pager, email...disregarding the possibility of flying over to NJ and throwing rocks at his window, there is nothing further I can do.

I expect Letehn would, given the chance ;)

OK, integration is finally up. To submit an article, go to this page, scroll down to the text box above the Submit Article button, type the name of your article in there and hit Enter. We'll come up with a more elegant solution for starting new articles soon...and we'll also start organising everything once the cobwebs have been dusted off the untouched wiki setup.

Excellent.

Hmm.. how about, as a temporary solution, you'd create a new forum for discussion of the wiki articles? And then, perhaps a subforum where you could make a new discussion thread appear for each new article posted?!?

What you're suggesting sort of already exists, Letehn.

Go to an article and click the discussion tab. Watch what happens.

As for auto-creating a new thread for each newly-submitted article, I don't think that's a possibility, but I'll look into it.

Click "Sitemap" in the top left hand corner.

I imagine much of the interface could do with improvement, or even a re-design, not least the homepage on which the adverts are actually more prominent than the content.

I was aware of the discussions tab, but I wanted to make it more prominent and create some interest. Oh well. EDIT: nevermind! Wow. amazing :D :)

I'm working on articles on Beethoven's 2 early symphonies, and I'd like to transfer some of the articles from wikipedia onto this site! The gnu license allows this, correct? EDIT: yes, indeed it does, as long as you provide a link to the wiki article.
