Saiming Posted January 4, 2007 Posted January 4, 2007 I think that there is something wrong with the pager system. Might only me, anyway. When it reaches the maximum amount of messages you can store (100). There comes a message telling you to erase a few messages. I select all, and then delete. I only delete 20 messages. So then i press [Pager Messages] to delete another 20 etc. But when I open the page a second time it is written that there are no more messages to delete. Very odd, since on the default page it is written that I have 80 messages. Quote
Guest JohnGalt Posted January 4, 2007 Posted January 4, 2007 Sent messages need deleting too, mate. Quote
bob stole my cookie Posted January 4, 2007 Posted January 4, 2007 :) JG is right. When you have the pager window open (where you can view all your received messages), it should say "Inbox" in the upper left. When you click that, it opens a pulldown menu that allows you to select sent items  This topic seems FAQable.... Quote
bob stole my cookie Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 ;) I must have special skillz. I sent the max number of pages allowed in one day for the first time today. ...without meaning to :) Quote
bob stole my cookie Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Ok, a real question :P The pager allows you to view your inbox and your sent items, but would there be a way to have it view all the messages in both your "folders"? It would make exporting, or even just trying to read over them, a lot easier because you would be able to see both sides of the conversation on one page. :P Quote
Guest JohnGalt Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 sort of like "wall-to-wall" on facebook. Exactly. That'd be a cool feature. Quote
bob stole my cookie Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 Since when did the character limit in the pager increase to 1000? :P :) Quote
Saiming Posted January 21, 2007 Author Posted January 21, 2007 Since when you started paging too much :P Quote
Guest Anders Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 A question; just how much bandwidth does this pager eat up? Quote
Saiming Posted January 21, 2007 Author Posted January 21, 2007 .. does it lag your internet... :P Quote
bob stole my cookie Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 That's a good question. At times it severely slow the loading of the home page when I log in Quote
Saiming Posted January 21, 2007 Author Posted January 21, 2007 Doesnt affect me ah, i so love 100Mbit/s :P Quote
bob stole my cookie Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 Don't you have a wireless network? Your modem may be 100Mb/s but you're only getting half that :P Quote
Saiming Posted January 21, 2007 Author Posted January 21, 2007 EEF U! But my laptop...d'oh also wireless :P Quote
Mike Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 Since when did the character limit in the pager increase to 1000? :P :P Since I got frustrated with the old limit for the umpteenth time, then remembered I could change it. :P A question; just how much bandwidth does this pager eat up? Don't know offhand. May find out. Nearly there on the "pager-to-pager" feature, by the way. Just got to sort out one last thing with it. Though I have to go out soon, so don't hold your breath. Quote
Mike Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 OK, after much wrestling, I finally managed to add this in, fully working. I think. All you need to do is click on the username of someone you've exchanged a pager message with (in either the inbox or the outbox) and a list of messages exchanged between the two of you will appear. You should be able to do everything with that list that you can do with the inbox/outbox (e.g. delete, export). Quote
Mike Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 Ah, this was likely caused by chopin reverting the footer template. Should be sorted now. Quote
Guest Anders Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 Pager message: sent Today 04:53 PM (my time) about pager (on dysfunctional pager) pager not working? Oh dear  Quote
