Guest cavatina Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 Hey YC Composers! Been a while since I've been able to stop by the forums, but I see that it is still as active as ever! Hopefully during my break from school I'll be able to sit down, relax, and listen to much of the fine music being posted here (I'm presuming its fine!). Concerning the topic of this tread: I have decided to do a project this year for a University class entitled Quote
chopin Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 I'll answer your interview questions. This is the major goal of Young Composers, so hopefully I can be of some help. I will email you. Quote
Guest cavatina Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 Thank you to Chopin for replying - I was really hoping that more people would be willing to participate. It is vital that we determine reasons why classical musicians must turn to the internet in order to spread their music, and more importantly, whether this method has success. Please, if you have just 5-10 minutes to answer a short list of questions VIA email, participate! Just email info@jbelelieu.com to let me know that you wish to help out. Any age and any ability are welcome. Quote
CaltechViolist Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 I'll participate. I'm definitely not a typical composer, but that's probably exactly the point of your survey! Quote
Adam Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 I will certainly take part, will email you my address for the questions. Quote
Guest cavatina Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 Wolf_88, if you haven't emailed info@jbelelieu.com please do so - I am in the process of finalising the questions and will be sending them out shortly. Quote
frantz Posted November 5, 2005 Posted November 5, 2005 hi ! i'm in too - if possible! i have already sent an email to your address thanks! Quote
frantz Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 hi Jonathan thanks for your reply. i have sent another email but it has returned. i have a single point ununderstood in your interview: (do you believe that this will effect whose music is received and "discovered"? Do you believe that this is a problem? ) regarding to the other questions i think that in my first reply i have said all that i had to say. best regards Quote
CaltechViolist Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 Is it too late to respond? I've been extremely busy lately, and I'm finally going to be able to get around to answering tomorrow... it's a very time-consuming survey! Quote
Gongchime Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 Count me in, ashoka33@hotmail.com Gongchime Quote
Guest cavatina Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 This is just a general followup up to this topic. The project described has been created and you are free to view the contents: http://www.jbelelieu.com/wcg/ Username: wcg Password: hmu302 Hopefully it will help someone, but I am presuming that most of this is common knowledge for established internet composers.
