What does everybody think of him? I personally love some of his marches and patriotic stuff.

I have to agree, he was the master of the march.

He pumps you up. It just makes a day seem unbelievably bright.

I must say I love his music. It also helps, that in my understanding, he started music on the violin. ;)

Have you ever heard any of his operettas? I vaguely remember playing one in college and it wasn't very memorable, but I too am uplifted after hearing one of his marches.

I despise listening to that fat turd's music. However, he was big on euphoniums, so playing it can be quite fun for me.
