Guest cavatina Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 Hi there, I have come to find many fantastic performers and composers on this web site, so naturally when I decided to interview young composers, I used this web site. (More information here) Well, I am back again, but this time I am looking for a single performer who is willing to answer a short series of questions concerning his/her instrument. Please note that I am looking for performers of instruments that are not commonly used in a Western orchestra: these include instruments such as the koto, the tabla, the pipa, the Erhu, the didjeridu, the Khayal, the sitar, among hundreds of other non-western instruments. If you play a "non-western" instrument (for income/semi-professionally/professionally would be best, but for your own reasons is just as good) and are willing to answer a short list of of questions concerning your instrument, please contact me at info@jbelelieu.com and I will send you more information. I would truly and greatly appreciate any participants. The interview will be used as the basis for an essay that I am writing on world music and performers. Quote
