rolifer Posted June 13, 2007 Posted June 13, 2007 After I have begun a new thread and posted it, how do I change the title? Quote
Mike Posted June 13, 2007 Posted June 13, 2007 You should be able to do this from the full edit screen (click Edit, then Go Advanced). EDIT: Unless you are referring to a wiki page, in which case the process is slightly different and may need to involve a staff member. Which seems likely, since you posted your question here. Anyway, it would help if you clarified the question. :) Quote
rolifer Posted June 14, 2007 Author Posted June 14, 2007 In the Chamber music section I have a piece entitled "On The Cusp of Insanity (maybe complete). I wish to remove "(maybe complete)". Is that possible for me to do? Quote
Mike Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 Like I said: You should be able to do this from the full edit screen (click Edit, then Go Advanced). Quote
bob_the_sane Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 I don't think that works. I think that just changes the title of the first post in the thread, not the actual thread title that is displayed in the forum. I may be wrong... Quote
Guest Anders Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 No, I think you're right in saying that.. I recall trying it when I had member permissions - wouldn't work. I'd always scallop at Daniel to change my thread names. Quote
Mike Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 Ah, my mistake - on further investigation, it seems there may have been a time limit set on editing thread titles. Try it now. Quote
rolifer Posted June 15, 2007 Author Posted June 15, 2007 I just tried again. I can change the title inside the thread but the post still has the original heading. I assime that this means someone higher up must do it as I have seen it done before. Quote
Mike Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 Hmm, that would appear to be true. I'll look into the issue some more. In the meantime, I've edited the thread title you were referring to. Quote
