who wants to write an opera!?

I have written a variety of operetta libretti and one opera libreto that are in need of a compser. Compsers of any style are welcome but my heart is set on a compser with a romantic period influence though it is not needed. If I could take a look at the libretto you'd want, I'd consider it. Email=jonathan.howie@gmail.com. I have much romantic influence, especially Debussy and Chopin, perhaps Rachmaninoff. But I've only been writing music for a year, and don't have a lot of experience writing for large ensembles.

I've been composing for almost 12 years now, and the major influences in my composing range from Mozart through to Bernstein, and anything in between. I would have to say that I would love to work on an opera! I've wanted to work on one for the longest time but never had the ability to write even a decent libretto. Perhaps I could take a look-see over it? I've mainly done compositions for orchestra and symphonic band, so writing for large ensembles is fairly easy to me.

Well, I've already sent out my two most recent libretti out and I just began another but it is very comical. I could stop the one and write a serious one for you?

It dosen't take me very long. Your influences are very tempting. If you would prefer an operetta let me know and I'll stick with my current project and give you that.
