Wiki Announcement/Guidlines

As most of you will probably be aware, Hillary and I have been made 'Editors' of the wiki. I have decided to try and sort out the categories, and get everything a bit more organised. Thus far I have made categories for all of the things that are likely to appear in our wiki. If you are writing an article, please do the following, it will make things much easier for Hillary and I and will keep the wiki more organised and easier to use:

If the page is about form, like these ones: Musical Form, please put [[Category:Musical Form]] at the bottom of the code, this will put it into the correct category and it will appear on the page I just linked to.

If the page is about a musical instrument like these ones: Instruments then put [[Category:Instruments]] at the end of the code. I will possibly add subcategories for different types of instruments in the future, but for now a generic instrument category should suffice.

If the page is about a composer put [[Category:Classical Composers]] or [[Category:Video game music composers]]. These are the only two sub-categories under Composers at the moment, if you feel that neither of those is suitable for your page PM Hillary or myself with a link to the page and we will deal with it.

If your article is akin to any of these ones: YC Music Articles then put [[Category:YC Music Articles]] at the end of the code.

With your help this wiki can become a brilliant feature of YC, and an extremely useful reference library for all of our members. I urge you to try and contribute as much as you can, and if you have any problems, don't hesitate to post in the wiki forum or PM one of the editors.

NB: Anders has also taken up the position of Editor alongside his moderating position.
