Hey y'all, This is something I've been working on for my church's small wind and string ensemble. I used alto recorder at the beginning because the only other winds I have are flutes and I wanted the more mellow sound. Any comments? Throw 'em my way! Thanks! (Please listen with good speakers or earphones. The poor midi quality makes some parts hard to hear the melody.)

Here is a piece I wrote in response to ChristianPerrotta's call for solo recorder music. I apologize in advance for any oddities in the score. I attempted to make it look as good as possible while trying to use a particular notation program that I don't think I'll ever go through the trouble of using again. This is my first piece for alto recorder. I have had a soprano recorder from childhood but never learned to properly play it. I believe I also wrote a simple piece for myself to try to play, maybe a year or two ago. But unfortunately I never found it.
