Hello, I don't know if this happens to other members as well, but I cannot see the MP3 and PDF feature in topics. To be more clear: I cannot see the attached files of the audio and scores that are normally shown in a sort of box. How can I solve this problem? Thanks, Maarten

I hope there's a good solution for this! I have a stereo recording of an a cappella SATB piece of mine. It's excellent except for a several-second passage in which I need to change one of the pitches. (They didn't perform it wrong -- I've since changed the pitch in the score.) Info that might help: - group has great intonation and blend, so all pitches in this passage are really spot on; - the pitch in question is G above middle C and I need it to be A above middle C; - this G is the highest pitch in the texture, sung by the sopranos; - it's an all-homophonic passage, and two of the four parts (including the sopranos singing this G) are holding still, chanting the same pitch on several different syllables while the other parts move. Please help me find out if there's a direct software/editing solution (as opposed to, like, "Get a different group to record it"). Thanks, I really appreciate the help!

Hi. I use Sibelius to compose music. I'd like to improve the sound quality of my finished products. Eventually I'd like to have professional-sounding mixes, but I realize this is a long ways down the road and will probably take several years of learning, practice and experimentation, plus equipment upgrades. One of my first tasks is getting sound decent studio monitors. I'm not ready to invest in professional-quality monitors yet, but I'd like to get something with relatively flat frequency response and neutral sound for a price that I won't feel terrible about if I have to upgrade in a few years. After doing some research, I think I've narrowed my search to two possibilities, the M-Audio Studiophile AV 40 Powered Speakers, for around $150/pair, and the Yamaha HS50M 5" Monitor Speaker, at around $300/pair. Both are within my current price range, although the Yamahas are at the upper limit. Does anyone have experience with either of these monitors? Has anyone ever have an opportunity to compare them? I'd be grateful for any advice/comments that you might have about this. Thanks. Glenn Simonelli
