Hey guys here is piece I just wrote for Classical Guitar and Mandolin! I had a lot of fun writing it and used a bit of renaissance counterpoint in the second part! Overall I had fun playing around with texture and dissonance within the two instruments. Also it was super fun to give the mandolin player different kind of lines than he is used too!- 5 replies

Hey guys. First post woo! This is for a class I'm taking (studying composition right now) and kind of just wanted general "first opinions" on this piece. Any feedback is good feedback, thanks 😄 Kinda lame, but this is very influenced by Mario Galaxy (specifically buoy base) lol it's a great soundtrack we can't deny it

Well, I don't know how much guitarrist are in this forum but, I wanted to do a little challenge for all guitarrist out there, is pretty hard for me because of the melody feels like triplets but they are semiquavers so, the trick of this challenge is in the rythm. The guitar is in standard tuning. I adjunt a mp3 of how it sounds and a pdf with sheet music and tablature.

I composed this Concertino for Classical Guitar and String Orchestra (in three movements), one of my more ambitious compositions, around 8 months ago. I had intended it for performance by a guitarist friend who sometimes performs with orchestras. However, that has not materialized yet. So here it is for your enjoyment. It is the first concertino I have ever written.
