A new symphony! I completely understand if you do not have the time to listen to some random person's full length symphony. Therefore, I appreciate feedback of any sort, even if for just one movement. However, as the composer I do not recommend you listen to the finale before the rest of the symphony, as much of the finale's musical direction is drawn from the rest of the symphony. I have provided a full analysis of the work in the score provided. Please give as much criticism as you can (and try to reference measures in the work to give weight to your points, and so I can also see what you mean). As always, thank you very much for your time and I look forward to this becoming a better symphony! A gigue for Piano and Violin in D minor. There are some modern characteristics, so it can be Neo-baroque. I would like helpful comments for this piece! The motif of the gigue was derived from one of Scarlatti's Sonata. This is one of my works I had composed just recently. I hope it is enjoyable. Gigue_in_D_minor.xml Gigue_in_D_minor.mid

This piece was supposed to be an introit or "requiem" movement to a requiem I was writing until I realized I hate writing with established formats (i.e. symphony, sonata, etc.) so this piece remains as is. As such, the final buildup was planned to up an octave and take two phrases instead of one to descend the second time through, but I never wrote a "second time through" so what's here is what's here. Enjoy!
