Hi. I want to buy a ASIO Card but am unsure what to get. I've read a couple of guides and posts, but they were written back in 2006-08. I had wanted to get something a little more up to date if such a thing exists.
I have LARGE vsts (Orchestra by EWQL) that I have loaded in a software but always get large latency or bad quality sounds. It's a trade-off. My UX2's ASIO sounds good, but pops when I go lower than a 1024 buffer. When I use ASIO4All, I get good latency, but the sound quality is much worse.
I wanted to get a Firewire, PCIe, or USB ASIO Card that just has good latency and sound quality. I only need it to play the VST sounds out of my speakers when I play and compose. Good ones are by M-Audio, EMU, and Delta? Is this still correct?
I found a list here, but don't know if there are any better alternatives for me.

I dont want to spend more than $300, but would like to spend as little as possible as I only need it to hear VSTs when I play.
Thanks!!
