I Wrote a Sonata for Rach (Sonata Quasi Una Fantasia in cis moll) - CelvinPiano Hello fellow musicians and music lovers, I am an 16 years old composer and I’ve recently finished writing a Sonata in C# minor, dedicated to Rachmaninoff, and I’d love to get some ears on it! If anyone is up for giving it a listen and sharing their thoughts or feedback, I’d really appreciate it. Anything from the composition itself to ideas on performance would be super helpful. And if someone feels inspired to perform it, that would be amazing! I’m open to chatting about that as well, and we could definitely figure something out if it resonates with you. Feel free to reach out if you’re interested, or if you know someone who might be. Can’t wait to hear what you think! Best, Celvin

Hello everyone, So by now, you know I love to compose dance music(: This piece is no exception. Yeah, it leans on the simpler side of compositions, and it’s rather short too, but I aimed to focus on melody and emotion this time around. I actually composed this before my Roses piece, but to be honest, I feel more satisfied with this dance than Roses due to the focus on expression. Ok, I’ve nipped your eyes with my description for long enough, so let’s get listening!:D Dance of Desire ~Frank

Hello guys. I am working in this group of two musical poems. Listening to a lot of Scriabin and Rachmaninoff is helping me to discover a new world. I must warn I am very busy right now with my interpretation classes and I barely have time to compose, so the second one will take more time.

Short original piano composition called "Please!". It is my first composition after a break of 2 years. It is inspired by the music of composers of the romantic era. Another big inspiration was the painting "Lamia" by John Waterhouse. It has the following structure: A - B - C - A' A : Main theme in C Major B : Secondary theme in d sharp minor C : Transition from B to A' in c minor A' : Dramatic variation of A in C Major Thank you for listening! Feel free to comment 🙂

A concert overture I just recently finished about Snowdonia National Park, Wales (Eryri in Welsh), which I recently visited. Let me know what you think!

This is the last work I finished before my computer sadly crashed (though hopefully I will have it back up an running soon). It is a simple melancholic waltz which uncharacteristic of me, I wrote very quickly (less than a week) and much of it away from the computer. I'm fan of the Eastern European Romantic composers and Dvorak in particular and this was in part influenced by his Slavonic Dances. I hope to add at least two other waltzes to compete a set of at least three.

I already posted this piece a few months ago, but I did it in a post where I shared most of my piano pieces. Also I got a better digital audio and I decided to animate it. So this is the result, I hope you enjoy it. 🙂 Also if you want to know more check the description of the video.

I'm going to post all my piano compositions in chronological order. Numbers 7, 8, 11, 13 and 15 are the best ones in my opinion. 1.-Compositions from youth. (I wouldn't even call this music) 2.-Random piano piece. (Modern I guess) 3.-Variations on a theme (Second piece I show in the video)(Classical) 4.-Katyusha (Variations)(Romantic/Virtuoso) 5.-Musical experiment. (Modern) 6.-Portrait of a dahlia. (Modern) 7.-Memories. (Romantic with jazz) 8.-Invention in D minor. (Canon)(Baroque) 9.-Crab canon. (Modern) 10.-Videogame experiment. (Modern) 11.-Feline Night (Jazz) 12.-Chromatic practice. (Experiment)(Modern) 13.-Elegía moderna. (Modern) 14.-Consonantn't vals. (Experimental/mixture) 15.-Portrait of a deaf man. (Modern/Romantic) If you liked or you have some advice please leave a coment. If I see people show interest I will post my other works.

This is an updated version of a concert overture I wrote in CPE style (mostly Classical Era style, with a bit of Romantic flair, and an ending that veers wildly into other territory) a few years back. I fixed a few mistakes in the score and added a better sound file. All comments and criticisms are welcome! I hope you enjoy it. Thanks for listening.

My Piano Sonata No.1 in F Minor composed in 2018. The sonata has 3 movements and is written in a romantic style. The first movement is in rondo form. The second consists of a prelude and a short fugue, and the final movement is more free in its form. The sonata is inspired by some of the works of Chopin and Beethoven. I'd be interested in any feedback. Sorry about the awful recording quality.

Hi forum 🙂 I've been away from composition for a while, due to time and motivation matters... Anyway, here's may last one, a piece for string quartet I would qualify of neo-baroque-romantic… 🤔 Hope you'll like it 🙂

https://soundcloud.com/selcukozer001/sarab Hi, I have recently finished composing this piano track. I was inspired by Sarabande of Handel (That is why I named it "Sarab" :)). I wonder if you like it. Please also give me some feedback. Thanks for listening to it.

The beauty of music is that it brings people together. From all over the world! It’s an universal language to which we all can connect. A couple of months ago I met macky@piano♪♪(まっきぃ) She is a wonderful pianist from Japan playing outstanding improvisations. Music that speaks to the heart and mind. I'm a big fan of her and it is a great honour to do this collaboration with her. A sweet, romantic music track within the atmosphere of Christmas. On the piano: macky@piano♪♪(まっきぃ) Arrangement, mixing and mastering: David Jansen [a.k.a. Gh0stwrit3r] I hope you enjoy it!

Hi all! This here is my first attempt to write a waltz for piano and my first attempt to transcribe it into sheet music. This piece was composed in the piano roll of a DAW. Please excuse any mistakes or unprofessional parts in the score, since I am neither a piano player nor am trained in music Theory. It is my first waltz, so I tried to keep this piece simple and understandable. The structure of the piece is as follows: Short Intro - A - B - C - A' - D - B' - C - A'' A: A rather quiet presentation of the main theme B: A lively intermediate theme 😄 A dramatic theme in a minor (?) that develops into A' A': A louder, festive presentation of the main theme 😧 A development into B' B': A simple variation of B with a few more trills A'': The first 2/3 are from A', the last 1/3 is from A. Thank you for listening & I hope you enjoy! K.R. Alex 🙂

Hi forum 🙂 This is my new symphonic study, in a rather romantic style, which I had started in August, but that has been delayed by other musical projects. Hope you'll like at least some moments 🙂

Piece No.5 Op.3 in C Major - "A Daydream". This is my first attempt in composing a romantic "Ballade" - like piece. It is slightly inspired by works of composers of the romantic period, such as Franz Liczt, Felix Mendelssohn and others. This piece is considered to be a ballade or nocturne and it follows the simple pattern A - B - C - A: A: main theme in C Major B: first intermediate theme in C Major C : second intermediate theme in F Major Thank you for listening and I hope you enjoy! Comments are welcome!

Hi all. I want to get involved in orchestral music, bit by bit. I chose a not large orchestra to write this. Surely, there'll be mistakes. For example, although I've checked it, one of the flute is in a very high register, but a piccolo couldn't do the lower notes of the phrase). I have thought about this piece in terms of color, timber, and sound masses. Please, don't tell me I should have deleted the empty staves because I don't want to do it. I like to see the silence as part of the score. I think I have thankfully been influenced by Brahms, Ives, R. Strauss, Shostakovich, and Gorecki... Dear Masters.
