collaborative 災害後 Saigai Go (Reprise) - by Kyle H. & Edin K.
UncleRed99 posted a topic in Chamber Music
Saigai Go.pdf Sg.mp3 This is a piece that was originally Edin's Piano solo composition. With his direct approval, I wanted to give it some color, and this is what I came up with 🙂 It may be rough around the edges in terms of its grammatical correctness, as I wrote this one some months ago, as I were re-learning things in the music theory realm of things. Go easy on meh I was rusteh xD- 4 replies

Hello. This week I decided to write for 3 winds. It's was pretty hard challenge for me, because I'm a piano player and I'm used to harmony. It was hard to write but I did enjoyed the process a lot and I got some nice ideas (maybe later I'll expand it and rewrite for larger ensemble). I don't like the musescore midi sounds so in a few days I will record myself on piano just for fun (to get some real vibrations 😄) and upload here. Comments and critiques are welcome! 🙂

Hi all, I have (finally) completed my Quartet for Piano and Winds. I have completed the first and second movement in August, but I was not able to compose a third movement, until last week. When I listened to Mozart's Quintet for Piano and Winds, K.452. I decided to compose a Quartet, which could be played by my friends and me. This is the reason why it is written for Bb Clarinet, Alto Saxophone, F Horn and Piano. I have tried to compose the third movement in the same style as the other two movements. Feedback and sharing your opinions would make me very happy! Enjoy! Kind regards, Maarten Bauer

Hi, this is my first piece of hopefully many I'll be posting here! It's called "Imago" because an imago is the adult stage of an insect and the song reminds me of bugs in an enchanted forest with fairies and stuff. I don't really have a lot of knowledge about music theory, but please don't hold back on the feedback. All comments are welcome! Thanks!

Hi, this was the first silent movie I scored for. I like this old movies. I saw a version of this film with an ugly music. Well, the music was wonderful but... what the hell the music of Carmen (Bizet) with this trip to the moon? Of course there was no synchronization at all, and you could listen to Toreador while the people is fighting against the aliens... So, I was determined to try and write something. I hadn't done anything for several instruments before this, and it was all very intuitive. But I think it has good moments, mostly because of the synchro. I share it just for fun (13 minutes long). It is scored for wind sextet and piano. There ara tonal, atonal and modal parts... I have the scores, but I think, in this case, are not very relevant: My Trip to the Moon
